2018 Board Paper - Detailed solution & Videos

General Instructions

  1. Time: 3 hours. Total marks: 80 marks
  2. All questions are compulsory.
  3. The question paper consists of 30 questions divided into four sections – A, B, C and D.
  4. Section A contains 6 questions of 1 mark each. Section B contains 6 questions of 2 marks each, Section C contains 10 questions of 3 marks each and Section D contains 8 questions of 4 marks each.
  5. There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided for 4 of the 10 3-mark questions and 3 of the 8 4-mark questions. You have to attempt only one of the two alternatives in all such questions.
  6. Use of calculators is not permitted.

3 of the 8 questions in Section D had internal choice. Chapters tested include Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Triangles, Construction, Trigonometry, Surface Areas & Volumes, Applications of Trigonometry, and Statistics.
