Question 3: Find the distance of a point P(x, y) from the origin.

Distance between two points A(x₁, y₁) and B(x₂, y₂) = \\sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2})
Let origin be Point A. So, (x₁, y₁) = (0, 0)
Let P(x, y) be point B. So, (x₂, y₂) = (x, y)
∴ distance between (x, y) and (0, 0) = \\sqrt{(x - 0)^2 + (y - 0)^2})
= \\sqrt{x^2 + y^2})
