# CBSE Class 10 Math Sample Paper | 2019

## General Instructions

1. Time: 3 hours. Total marks: 80 marks
2. All questions are compulsory.
3. The question paper consists of 30 questions divided into four sections – A, B, C and D.
4. Section A contains 6 questions of 1 mark each. Section B contains 6 questions of 2 marks each, Section C contains 10 questions of 3 marks each and Section D contains 8 questions of 4 marks each.
5. There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in two questions of 1 mark each, two questions of 2 marks each, four questions of 3 marks each and three questions of 4 marks each. You have to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.
6. Use of calculators is not permitted.

#### 1 Mark Questions

2 of the 6 questions in Section A have internal choice. Questions in Section A - one mark questions - appeared from the following chapters: Quadratic Equations, Real Numbers, Coordinate Geometry, Arithmetic Progressions, Trigonometry, and Triangles.

#### 2 Mark Questions

2 of the 6 questions in Section B have internal choice. Questions in Section B - two mark questions - appeared from the following chapters: Real Numbers, Linear Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Coordinate Geometry, and Probability.

#### 3 Mark Questions

4 of the 10 questions in Section C have internal choice. Chapters tested include Real Numbers, Polynomials, Coordinate Geometry, Linear Equations, Quadratic Equations, Triangles, Circles, Trigonometric ratios, Surface Areas & Volumes, and Statistics.

#### 4 Mark Questions

3 of the 8 questions in Section D have internal choice. Chapters tested include Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Triangles, Construction, Trigonometry, Surface Areas & Volumes, Applications of Trigonometry, and Statistics.
